There are many great jazz bands! Most of them come from renowned music metropolises – for example, from New York, Berlin, or Cologne. The fact that in the quartet "JazzVitation," musicians come together who all live in the Vulkaneifel, sometimes chop wood for the winter, and then spend the evenings applying their axe to both well-known and lesser-known pieces of jazz literature, is something quite special!

The repertoire is colorful and diverse: compositions by Count Basie or Miles Davis, by the Crusaders or Don Covay – every piece gains a new, distinctive character in the JazzVitation arrangement. Saxophonist Jürgen Kill captivates with his virtuosic playing and brilliant sound; Norbert Brenner – sometimes on guitar, sometimes on keyboard – leads the ensemble through the songs with stylistic and harmonic precision; bassist Alfons Hardt, an experienced hand on his instrument, provides a more than reliable musical foundation, and drummer Heiko Thurm adds an infectious groove to the whole.

The Monday Night Jazz takes place on Monday, 07. 09. 2026, starting at 8 PM in the Jazz Ballroom at the Bowling Center Bitburg, Charles-Lindbergh-Allee 5. Admission is free.
