After prior registration, wheelchair traction devices "Swiss-Tracs" can be borrowed against a deposit and rental fee at the Tourist Information Bitburger Land.
They allow people with limited mobility more independence in everyday life. In just a few seconds, the electric drive can be connected to the wheelchair. This allows them to travel up to 20 km independently and to pass heels or other obstacles without tipping over. Slopes and uneven terrain can be overcome effortlessly with a traction device, even with limited grip function and little strength in the arms.
