Just after the Pruembrücke bridge in the direction of Neuerburg, turn right into "Untergasse". At the end of the lane, on the left in a wall, there is a cross stone from around 1700 (see "Oberweiser Kreuze-Weg" booklet 11). Turn right into the "Brechter Weg". Below the church of St. Remigius, past the niche chapel and along the cemetery wall, you have passed several important sights in Oberweis (see "Oberweiser Kreuze-Weg" booklet 12, 1, 3 and 2). At the first fork in the road, turn right along the "old Brechter Weg", above the L7 road to Brecht. Pass a statue of the Virgin Mary and walk along the initially paved, later well-surfaced path through Oberweiser Flur until you reach the paved farm track at Buchenhof. (*) Path no. 5 leads you to the left to the "Brotberg" road with a beautiful view of the village and the church. Via "Ober-", "Mittel-" or "Untergasse" you reach the B50 again and your starting point.

Turn right at Buchenhof (*) and follow path no. 5a to Brecht. In the neighboring village, cross the Prüm and continue in the direction of Bitburg until you come to cycle and hiking trail no. 1. Here it is up to you to decide which route you want to take.

The direct route to Oberweis takes you along path no. 1, the cycle path. You walk in the opposite direction as described above and reach your destination after a total distance of 6.3 km.
