Wolle Festival
Jun 13, 2026 - Jun 14, 2026
Bitburg
On June 13 and 14, 2026, the Wolle Festival will take place for the first time at the Stadthalle Bitburg. For two days, everything here revolves around handicrafts, a love of materials, and the big question: Which color should I choose and why five strands right away?
At the fair, visitors will meet exhibitors who bring (hand-)dyed yarns and spinning materials, from plant-dyed to acid-dyed, from classic to unusual, and from solid to colorful. There will also be spinning fibers, tops, fleece, and all sorts of accessories that you thought you'd just look at briefly but end up taking home.
The surrounding elements won't be neglected either: knitting and crochet needles, buttons, ribbons, zippers, stitch markers, yarn bowls, wrist unwinders, and other practical helpers are typical finds. Depending on the exhibitors, there may also be wool detergents, magazines, and specialized books available. Some fabric vendors will also be present, ensuring that sewing fans find something for themselves as well.
Note: The specific offerings may vary depending on the exhibitors and event date.
For those who want not only to shop but also to learn, workshops and hands-on activities await: ideal for refreshing techniques, trying out new things, or simply asking questions (details will be provided in due course). And of course, direct contact is part of the Wolle Festival: brands, people, materials, all live and unfiltered.
A little bonus for your day planning: right next door awaits the charm of the Bitburger Brewery. So it's perfect for making your trip to Bitburg a well-rounded weekend program.
