Among the most exciting musicians of the young generation and stars of tomorrow is also the Quatuor Agate. As part of the "Rising Stars," a project of the European Concert Hall Organisation, it will tour Europe in 2025.

Four young string players from southern France form the quartet, which was founded in 2016. After numerous competition successes, they are now performing in major concert halls such as the Wigmore Hall in London and the Brucknerhaus in Linz, and participating in important festivals like those in Verbier or Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Their encounter with the string quartet repertoire was a pivotal moment in the musicians' lives. They possess extensive and diverse musical experiences – from solo to chamber music – and find in this new repertoire an inexhaustible source of their expression and inspiration. The Quatuor Agate established the CorsiClassic Festival in 2016, located near Ajaccio in Corsica, and is dedicated to promoting chamber music in regions of the island where classical music is rarely heard.

The concert takes place in collaboration with the Konz Musik Festival.
