SPINNING FLAX WITH THE HAND SPINDLE

In collaboration with the Bitburg Landfrauen, Leinenlos, and the Kreismuseum Bitburg-Prüm, we will spend a day working with flax fibers. In this one-day workshop, we will learn how to use a hand spindle. We will spin tow and long flax and hear stories and history about flax and linen.
This course is for anyone who wants to experience traditional crafts firsthand!

The course instructor will be Christiane Seufferlein, spinner and organizer of 1 sqm linen (Austria).
