This route leads through a beautiful wooded area and over the heights of Hütterscheid. The approximately 11 km circular hike starts and ends at the barbecue hut in Hütterscheid (Hauptstraße). Parking is available there. The circular hike leads via Berghausen and runs along a section of trail no. 78 of the Southern Eifel Nature Park. In Berghausen, you can visit the Chapel of Grace, which was built in thanksgiving for the birth of a child in 1766. After the ascent through the forest, there is a wonderful view over Hütterscheid and the Bitburger Land region. The trail leads past orchards and past the "Knutschheisjen".

Farm tracks along the edge of the forest take you to the thick beech tree and then back to Hütterscheid.
