The circular trail crosses the Wolf's Ditch, which gives the trail its name.

The Wolf Trail leads on paved to well-surfaced paths to various stations with information about the Bedhard. The trail is passable with a pram.

The Wolf Trail starts at the access road to the former military areas in Bedhard, on the B 50 between the Arzfeld and Brecht exits.
