The joint association for the holiday region of Bitburger Land has existed since 1977 and is an amalgamation aimed at supporting and marketing the tourism activities in the town of Bitburg and the community of Bitburg-Land. Since 1998, the association has also been responsible for the tourism management of the community of Speicher. Due to the municipal reform, the joint association of the holiday region of Bitburger Land has also been responsible since 01.07.2014 for the former district of Kyllburg, which was absorbed together with the community of Bitburg-Land into the community of Bitburger Land.
