The Eifelverein Speicher warmly invites you to the 3 hikes between the years 2025 and 2026.

These so-called “Hikes Between the Years” traditionally take place in consultation with the friendly local groups Bettingen and Fließem.

We will travel to our hiking friends in Fließem on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Departure in Speicher at the marketplace at 09:15 AM, start in Fließem at 10:00 AM at the community center. The hike leader in Fließem is Willi Weiers. The route is approximately 11 km long. Afterwards, we will have a meal together. We will travel to our hiking friends in Bettingen on Monday, December 29, 2025. Departure in Speicher also at 09:15 AM, start in Bettingen at the community center at 10:00 AM. The hike leader is Paul Ewen, the route is approximately 8 km long. A meal afterwards is planned.

The third hike “Between the Years” takes place in Speicher. The start is at 10:00 AM in Speicher at the marketplace. The hike route in Speicher will be about 9-11 km long and will take approximately 3 hours of hiking time. There will be hardly any elevation gain, as the route lies on the club’s own hiking paths in the area of the VG Speicher. The hike leader is Albert Wallenborn. Afterwards, we will return to our club location “Zum Grünen Baum,” where you can enjoy your packed lunch or order something from the menu of Pizzeria Mamamia at your own expense.
