As the days get shorter and the lanterns start to shine again, it is time for a very special celebration: The Craftsmen's Association and the St. Nikolaus Mötsch Church Choir cordially invite you to this year's Martin's Parade on Friday, November 7, 2025.

The colorful parade will start at 6:30 PM from the branch church in Mötsch. Along with us: St. Martin on horseback, the Mötsch Music Association, which enthusiastically supports the singing of Martin songs, and of course many shining lanterns. Together, we will walk - accompanied and secured by the volunteer fire department of Mötsch - through the streets of Mötsch to the community center Jedermanns, where the large Martin's fire provides a cozy warmth - and for the children, the highly coveted Martin's pretzels will be ready.

Following the parade, the traditional Martin's raffle will take place with many beautiful prizes. The culinary needs are well taken care of - from steaming sausages to warming mulled wine.

The raffle tickets for the Martin's raffle will be offered for sale in advance by both associations in the village. Anyone who wants to participate can conveniently secure one or more tickets and actively support the celebration. Last-minute participants can also purchase tickets on the evening of the event.

What should you bring? A lantern, a singing voice (loud and out of tune is welcome!!) and a lot of good mood.

The Craftsmen's Association and the Church Choir look forward to seeing you - and to an evening full of light, encounters, and a wonderful time together.
