From July 25 to 28, Herfprst will once again transform into a stronghold of good cheer. Look forward to four days full of music, community, and unforgettable moments - with a diverse program for all generations!

Whether at the Grand Tattoo, Blue Light Day, Children's Afternoon, or the festive evenings in the festival tent - there’s something for everyone.

July 25

8:00 PM - 2:00 AM Opening of the Stands
Let’s go! From 8:00 PM, the beverage and food stands will officially open their doors. Start the weekend with a cool drink – let’s raise a toast to a great festival together!

9:00 PM - 2:00 AM HOTSPOT - The Cover Band
With HOTSPOT, it’s more than just hot fun. The show band HOTSPOT from Koblenz, Rhineland-Palatinate is a top act and has been firmly established at national events for 10 years now. With an exhilarating performance and modern show technology, HOTSPOT guarantees perfect entertainment. The breathtaking live show turns every party night into a day. Whether it’s current dance hits, charts, or rock & pop - HOTSPOT always manages to celebrate an unforgettable party with the audience.

July 26

6:30 PM - 8:00 PM in St. Eligius Parish Church
Festive service in St. Eligius Parish Church
A ceremonial introduction to the festival weekend with musical accompaniment by the church choir “Cäcilia” Herforst.

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM Castrop Rauxel Merklinde Marching Band and Music Association Herforst in the Tent
The marching band of the Volunteer Fire Brigade Castrop Rauxel - Merklinde division and the MV Herforst creates atmosphere in the tent with a varied music program - traditional, entertaining, and exhilarating.

10:00 PM - 10:30 PM Grand Tattoo
After five years of hiatus: A special moment with a torch parade and a ceremonial music ritual, together with the marching band Castrop-Rauxel Merklinde and the MV Herforst.

10:30 PM - 2:00 AM HAPPY TONES – 100% Danceable!
Right after that, the HAPPY TONES heat up the festival tent. Look forward to an exhilarating night full of hits and dance vibes!

July 27

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM Frühschoppen
Frühschoppen as from a storybook: Music associations from near and far ensure excellent entertainment with cool drinks and delicious food in the festival tent.

11:30 AM - 4:00 PM Blue Light Day & Vehicle Exhibition
A highlight for the whole family! The blue light family presents their technology. There’s plenty to discover for young and old guests!
8:00 PM - 11:00 PM Rainer Tures Band
To conclude the Sunday, the Rainer Tures Band provides atmosphere with rock, pop, and party classics – relaxed, musical, and guaranteed to be exhilarating.

July 28

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Children's Afternoon
A festive day for our young guests with games, fun, and activities. Here, children can romp, craft, and let loose – of course with sweet surprises!
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Afternoon Music
Two music associations will create the traditional homeland evening - a festive and sociable conclusion to the festival with musical diversity from the region.

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM Music Association Preist
The Music Association Preist starts the traditional homeland evening - a festive and sociable conclusion to the festival with musical diversity from the region.

8:45 PM - 10:00 PM Music Association Niersbach-Greverath
The Music Association Niersbach Greverath continues with the homeland evening.

10:15 PM - 2:00 AM Erich and the Funky Moneyrollers
For the grand finale, the Funky Moneyrollers will give it their all once again! Look forward to funk, soul, and cultural classics in an energetic live performance.
