We drive past the Weinfelder/Schalkenmehrener Maar and extinct volcanoes to the geyser center in Andernach.
The expedition consists of three parts
- Experience center: Information about the geyser and volcanism in the Eifel region
- Boat trip: to the geyser on the island of Namedyer Werth
- Geyser: eruption of the world's highest cold-water geyser, Geysir Andernach. 2008 entry in the Guinness Book of Records
After a coffee break, we drive back to the hotel in the southern Eifel.
TIP: Bring a packed lunch from the hotel for lunch.
