Wolsfeld brennt

On Hubertusstraße, part of the historic village center of Wolsfeld, the distilleries of Alois Hoffmann, Bernhard Zender, and Heinz Junk, along with the Musikverein Wolsfeld e.V., will host the 9th Wolsfeld Distillers’ Day on Sunday, October 18, 2026.

Starting at 11:00 a.m., the stills will be fired up and the distillers will be distilling fine fruit brandies for you, such as Williams Christ pears and Mirabelle plums. “In this way, we want to vividly demonstrate the production of our fine brandies and spark interest in our products,” explain the organizers. Throughout the day, you can learn all about the benefits of local products at the distilleries, and the distillers will demonstrate and explain everything you need to know about the production of fine Eifel brandies.

In addition, you’ll receive a beautiful glass featuring the “Wolsfeld brennt 2026 – mat Muusik” logo, which will give you the opportunity to taste and enjoy the fine Wolsfeld brandies at all the distilleries.
The Wolsfeld Music Association—participating in this event for the first time—will provide refreshments, including a wide selection of food and cakes, and has invited partner music associations and a choir to perform on the “Änischsplaaz.”
