Barrier-free offers in the Bitburger Land
Tourism for everyone, without borders. This is what we want to offer in the Bitburger Land vacation region with new barrier-free offers.
Tourism for all without borders - that is the aim of the German-Luxembourgish INTERREG VA project "Accessibility without borders" and the model region of the North and South Eifel "Tourism for all". These projects are funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
As part of the projects, comfort hiking trails certified according to standardized criteria are established and viewpoints and sights are made accessible without barriers. This offer for people with mobility and activity restrictions is supplemented by offers for people with hearing difficulties/deaf-mutes, people with visual difficulties and blind people as well as for people with cognitive impairments. Integration into the service chain is always important.
