The holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Igel, quietly at the edge of the forest, bordering the city limits of Trier. Due to its favorable location, the apartment is an ideal starting point for trips by car, bike or on foot. Signposted hiking trails begin at the front door. If necessary, a hiking guide is available for tours around Igel, of course free of charge. The cycle paths along Moselle are about 1.5 km, Saar about 4 km and Sauer about 5 km. Tours for mountain bikers are also starting at the doorstep. The center to Trier is about 7 km, the borders of Luxemburg about 4.5 km and the city of Luxembourg about 30 km. Good bus and train connections to Trier and Luxembourg.

Fun is guaranteed on 10 fully-automatic lanes at Bowling Base in Bitburg.

The ice rink at the Südring (next to the Bitburger brewery) in Bitburg offers a special treat during the cold season. Ice-skating for adults and children is possible six days a week.
