Ice skating at the Bitburg ice ring

Bitburg Ice Arena – Ice, Events & Excitement

The Bitburg Ice Arena is a truly special venue for events, sports, and recreation—and a real highlight for visitors of all ages.

From late September through early April, guests can enjoy a wide variety of ice-skating experiences here—whether they’re looking for athletic activities, family-friendly fun, or exciting events. Every Saturday evening, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the ice rink transforms into a unique ice disco with DJs, modern lighting, and fog effects during “Disco Eiskalt – the Original.” The program is complemented by popular family events such as “St. Nicholas on Ice” or “Family on Ice,” which delight numerous visitors year after year. Things get sporty during the thrilling ice hockey games of the Eifel-Mosel-Bären, which create an electrifying atmosphere in the arena. For beginners and young ice skating fans, skating lessons are offered regularly to make skating fun right from the start. The family skating session on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with attractive prices, is especially popular.

For birthdays and special occasions, a party room for up to 10 people is also available—ideal for one of the coolest celebrations on ice. Schools, groups, and clubs also benefit from attractive skating times. In addition, the ice rink can be rented exclusively by prior reservation and subject to availability.
