Circular route around Idenheim

The 1 km circular trail starts from the village square in Idenheim, is easy to walk and suitable for all generations. Parking is available at Gasthaus Ewen in Hauptstraße 2.

Directions

From the village square, walk approx. 100 meters in the direction of Sülm, then turn right into Ringstraße. There is a wayside cross on the left-hand side. Follow the Ringstraße around to the right until you reach the parish church of St. Nikolaus, then turn left and follow the main road past the Zender distillery to the cemetery. Then turn right and follow the road "Im Hohlweg" to the lower village. There you can admire another wayside cross. At the end of this road, follow "Brunnenstraße" up to the right. Here you will pass another chapel, the Corpus Christi Chapel of the Zender family. If you continue along Brunnenstraße, you will reach the starting point again.
