Description

From Malberg to the Wachenforth Fließem chapel

SECRET TIP FROM MONIKA MAYER

There are parking spaces at the Malberg community hall, perfect for a short hike to the Wachenforth chapel. The path leads through the "Mühlenwald" forest, past the soothing babbling of the Kyll, to the Wachenforth chapel near Fliessem.

The cozy Wachenforth forest chapel is located on the edge of a wooded area near Fließem. The chapel was built around 1900 on a site where a pilgrimage church and country residence once stood for many centuries, owned by the Benedictine monks from Prüm.

In this idyllic and peaceful place, you can leave the stress of everyday life behind and recharge your batteries.

Field name: Sangenberg / The chapel is located above the Obere Fließemer Mühle.
