Traditional Trouliechter carving


This year's traditional Trouliechter carving takes place on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at our workshop at the youth center in Speicher corner Trierer Strasse / Auf der Katz-Strasse.

We invite all children from 6 years old along with their parents to carve spooky faces into the turnips under expert guidance. The Trouliechter will be equipped with a candle and placed in front of the door or on the windowsills in the evening to drive away evil spirits and bring some light into the dark season.

The fodder turnips and tools are provided by the Eifelverein.
