The Otrang Villa is one of the largest and best-preserved Roman villa complexes north of the Alps. Discover this once magnificently furnished manor house with its mosaic floors and learn what life was like in the countryside during antiquity. The Rhineland-Palatinate Directorate General for Cultural Heritage invites you to Open Monument Day on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 11 a.m., for an expert-led tour with Roman history expert Edgar Comes to discover daily life on a Roman estate and learn about its architecture, agriculture, and domestic culture.
