Schloss Malberg
Michael Klink (Horn), Annette Rohland (Bassoon), Gertrud Pazen (Flute), Barbara Görgen-Mahler (Oboe) and Ulrich Junk (Clarinet)
Since 2017, the musicians from the Koblenz - Trier region have wanted to enchant audiences with their music for flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon, drawing on the spirit of Romanticism! They have chosen Friedrich von Hardenberg, known as Novalis, a representative of early Romanticism, as their namesake, who in a fragment of a novel coined the epitome of romantic longing with the blue flower. For the 2026 program, they are planning, among other works, the Wind Quintet in F major by James Waterson (1834-1893) and the Sextet in C minor op. 40 for piano and wind quintet by Louise Farrenc (1804-1875).
