Flax and textile skills

The Bitburg Land Women, Leinenlos, and the Bitburg-Prüm District Museum invite you to a special lecture.
The speaker, Christiane Seufferlein from Austria, will take you back to the history of flax. She has visited people who traditionally processed flax and captured their stories. She researches flax and linen, the hard rural everyday life, and wants to give the fiber a vibrant future.
Since textiles can only be fully appreciated by touch, she has brought many examples that can be touched and explored.
