Guided hike Eifelverein Speicher

On Sunday, June 28, we’ll be hiking the Südeifel Nature Park loop trail (Trail No. 52) in the Schankweiler area. The trail mostly follows wide forest paths and offers many beautiful views of the stunning surroundings and the plateau. A major highlight will be the “Schankweiler Klause,” where we’ll be happy to stop and take a moment to soak up the tranquility. Depending on what the hiking group decides, we may stop for refreshments after the hike.

Hike length: approx. 10 km, elevation gain and loss of about 330 hm. Due to the elevation gain involved, the hike is rated as moderately difficult. Participation in all hikes is at your own risk! Each hiker must assess their own fitness and ability. The Eifelverein Speicher accepts absolutely no liability for damages of any kind! As always for half-day hikes, the hike starts at 1:30 p.m. at the market square in Speicher, or you’re also welcome to meet us at the starting point of the hike at 2:00 p.m. in Schankweiler, at the Scharenstraße parking lot.
