Flower Power – Hits of the '60s

The Beda Women’s Choir cordially invites you to its annual concert on September 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Haus Beda in Bitburg!

Petticoats and swirling skirts, later miniskirts and Flower Power—fashion became increasingly bold and colorful. Kidney-shaped tables, cocktail chairs, and bag lamps found their way into living rooms, while a new generation discovered its own lifestyle.

And then there’s the music: pop hits and catchy tunes, the Beatles and the beat, rousing pop hits, and the Flower Power vibe of “Aquarius” from the musical “Hair.”

Let us take you on a musical journey through the 1960s—a decade that, like no other, stands for new beginnings, change, and a zest for life.

Remember the melodies that shaped the spirit of an entire generation back then. Feel free to sing along—your voice is most welcome. Together, let’s bring the music of this special era back to life.
