The circular hike number 77 leads past fields, meadows and through a beautiful stretch of forest. In summer, the hike is accompanied by colourful flowers and butterflies.

Matthias and Gertrud Schmalen have been running a distillery in Idesheim in the Eifel region for about 20 years now. They produce about 20 different brandies and 10 different liqueurs themselves.
The Mariensäule was built in 1886 in honour of the Mother of God. An internal spiral staircase leads to a viewing platform. The seven stations of the „Kreuzweg“ also end at the Mariensäule.
In 1646 a replica of the Chapel of the Assumption near Jerusalem was built on the hill between Oberkail and Schwarzenborn.
The museum of Speicher offers an insight into the everyday life of our ancestors. The museum’s highlights include the exhibition entitled “Necessity is the Mother of Invention”, which shows how the people of the Eifel converted war materials into everyday objects.
The stonecrosses along the "Oberweiser Kreuze-Weg" are provided with numbered information boards. The trail includes 12 stations and has a length of about 14 kilometres.
The sacred building "Einsiedelei" is a beautiful chapel in the woods of the local community of Wiersdorf.
